Kids College Update

Effective the summer term (beginning June 23rd) Parenting classes will resume at the old Yorba Linda Facility/Campus-not Fairmont Elementary School. The location is back at 4175 Fairmont Blvd. The classroom for parenting is room 408. We kindly request that students are told to not disturb the staff in the front office – as it is Placentia Yorba Linda School District – and we no longer have staff available at that site.

Luis and Monica from the Cypress campus have worked diligently to call all of the current enrolled students at YL to notify them of the campus change, room, and if they have any questions to call or contact one of the other campus locations & not Yorba Linda.

Parents have also been called off waiting lists and have been notified they must go to Wilshire, Anaheim or Cypress to register for classes. They were asked to let you know they were called off the waiting list – as they will not have attended any classes yet for the instructor to sign off for entry. Permission to call them was given by the instructors and Rita.

Kids College Applications

Here is some useful information regarding Kids College Applications. Special thanks to Julie Edwards for providing this information!

  • Kids’ College applications for ages 2-13 are processed by the staff at the Anaheim campus. If you have any questions regarding the status of a particular application, you may contact Anaheim A&R staff at (714) 808-4645. (Kids 13 years old and up are done by CCCApply.)
  • These applications will be processed within 3 business days (usually less) and an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the parent/guardian on the application. The message will contain the child’s ID number and some instructions regarding the PIN and registering online. Sometimes, the response e-mail gets filtered into the recipient’s “Bulk” or “Junk” mail folders – this is helpful to know if a parent is looking for a response to an application that they completed more than two days old.
  • The online application system is usually inactivated during the week of registration and the first week of ADULT classes as staff will be registerting walk-in students during these times. Parents will not be able to access the application for Kids 2-13 years old during these times and they should be advised to come in person to our campuses to register their child. (They may still apply for children 13 years old and up using CCCApply.)
