Disabled Student Programs and Services

We are now offering a Mobility Training Skills Course where students can learn to ride the fixed routes on OCTA to and from school and/or work. This training is funded by a JARC (Job Access and Return Commute) grant offered through OCTA which allows us the opportunity to work with students on a One to One bases providing them with A customized trip plan A companion and personalized travel training Instruction in reading a bus book, and Interacting appropriately and safely in the community This class is available to all DSPS students who are currently taking ACCESS and/or students who would like to become more independent in their community.
