Kids’ College and Teen program offered through the School of Continuing Education is a self supporting community service program associated with the North Orange County Community College District. We offer a variety of after school and Saturday classes for students ages 3 through 17.

What grade level should I enroll my child in?
During the school year, rnroll the child in the grade level they are in. During the summer term, if the child wants to preview the coming year,enroll them in the grade they will be entering. Because classes may require a level of coordination, or maturity we asl that parents follow these guidelines.

Is there homework in the Kids’ College Class?
Kids’ College classes are not graded. These are designed to be fun classes with out the pressure of homework and grades. A teacher may provide enrichment activities for outside of class time or opportunities to complete worksheets to check for understanding class material, but there will be no grade recorded for the child.

Can students register after the term has started?
Yes, but tuition is not prorated if the class has already started. It would not be advisable to register if the class has met more than two times. Also, parents should know that if your child is starting a tutorial class late these classes only run for five weeks.

Why do some classes have grade levels and some have age levels?
Our instructors have designated grades or ages appropriate for their class. Usually academic subjects are divided by grade levels and the non-academic areas like sports, where coordination might be important, are divided by age.
