All eligible SCE students are invited to apply for a variety of student scholarships. A new consolidated form lists all available scholarships, their criteria, and their award amounts. Scholarships are available for student leaders, students of color, students planning to transition to credit colleges, and students participating in the English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) arts program.
The form is available online at http://sce.edu/news/index.php/bs/. In addition, students can pick up a hard copy of the scholarship form at all three SCE campus high school labs, Learning Centers, ESL Learning Centers, and the Career Technical Education program office (located at the Anaheim Campus, room 103). Completed scholarship applications must be turned in to the above campus locations by 3:00 p.m. on April 9, 2010 and must include the new form as well as an essay. The Anaheim Campus Learning Center will host scholarship essay workshops on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m.
