Fall brings a new cycle of opportunity with the start of a new school year. In my experience, there is nothing more powerful than the feeling of setting a new goal, developing a plan to achieve it and then accomplishing that goal. At the School of Continuing Education (SCE), we are focused on making dreams become reality for every student. And although our District has been impacted by the economic challenges that our state continues to face, we are truly committed to assisting each student in identifying goals, developing a plan and providing the support needed to achieve success.

Each year, we provide opportunities for thousands of students to reach their goals. This past year students completed career technical education certificates that led to new employment possibilities while other students completed high school diplomas and transitioned to higher education. Many other students enjoyed learning new skills for workplace transition or generating healthy and independent lifestyles.

As the new Provost, I want to personally invite you to take advantage of the many opportunities we have available for adults and children of all ages. A world of possibilities awaits you at SCE. Whatever your goal, we look forward to helping you achieve success. Let’s have a great fall term.
