SCE’s Adult College and Career Transitions (ACCT) Program will host walking tours of the District’s credit colleges, Cypress College and Fullerton College, in early November. The tours will introduce academic programs and support services, as well as the unique benefits and personality of each college. Tour details:

Fullerton College Tour: Thursday, November 1, 2012.  9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.  Meet at the SCE Wilshire Center High School Lab (Building 100; Room 118) at 9:30 a.m. Fullerton College, one of the oldest community colleges in California, offers many academic options.  Ranked third in the state in the number of transfers to the California State University (CSU) system, many Fullerton College students transfer to CSU Fullerton.  But did you know that Fullerton College also offers high-quality career certificates and assoiciate degrees so that you can start a professional career sooner?  A wide variety of options are available, offering well-paying careers in the fields of Computer Animation/Multimedia; Justice, Law Enforcement, CSI; Technology and Engineering; Paralegal; and many more!

Cypress College Tour: Thursday, November 8, 2012. 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.  Meet at the SCE Cypress Center High School Lab (Room SCE/TE2-205 ) at 9:30 a.m. College is the key to a better future. Students learn cutting edge skills that lead to a good career with a livable wage. At Cypress College, the friendly, supportive staff will help you to reach your goals. Cypress College offers over 100 career certificates, dozens of degrees, and university-transfer majors. Education options include Air Conditioning and Refrigeration; Aviation; Business and Computer Information Systems; Health Care, Psychology Technician, and Health Information Technology; Homeland Transportation Security; and more!
